Kevin Knows The Bay
Captain Kevin spends so much time fishing the Florida Bay and the Gulf that some folks around Marathon call him the “Bay King.” He loves the versatility of it. The variety and consistency of fish the bay provides is hard to beat anywhere else in the Keys.
Some of that skinny, protected backcountry water sits on the Bay side and some sits right along the Gulf. Kevin fishes the shallows constantly either way. Push out past the backcountry into open Gulf water and that’s where the bigger fish like cobia and grouper start showing up.
The great thing about fishing with Kevin is that he is flexible like any good Captain should be. Picking one fishing style doesn’t mean you are beholden to that for the day. His goal is the same as yours: have fun and catch fish!

Sunrise Starts
